Aussie steakhouse launched in Riyadh

The largest Outback Steakhouse outlet in world has been launched in Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh.

The Australian steakhouse franchise is a joint venture between SA-based Hospitality Concepts Arabia and managing partners Ziad Kaddoura and Mohamed Charafeddine.

“We are truly proud of our achievement in bringing the world’s greatest steakhouse concept to KSA and Riyadh,” declared Kaddoura.

“Saudis and expats alike have asked for an alternative in their dining experience and we believe this is the best there is.

“Outback around the world is known for its bold flavours and freshness, and we are committed to fulfilling that same promise to our customers every day,” he added.

The restaurant, located at the Riyadh’s Localizer Mall, will employ at least 40 Saudi Arabian nationals, according to Hospitality Concepts Arabia, and will feature a menu consisting of beef and steak items, as well as a variety of chicken, seafood and pasta dishes.

The group also announced that it considering increase the number of Outback Steakhouse outlets at potential sites in Riyadh and in other major KSA cities.
