APPOINTMENT: Abdul Karim Al Atiq

Coral Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Abdul Karim Al Atiq as the new general manager of Coral International Hotel – Al Khobar.

Welcoming the newly-appointed GM, Michel Noblet, CEO, HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings, said, “Abdul Karim is an accomplished hotelier bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge which will help us to manage this landmark property in the most efficient way and deliver exceptional service that Coral brand is known for.

“I am fully confident that Abdul Karim with his substantial expertise and dynamism will position Coral International Hotel – Al Khobar as the first choice for travellers. His immediate task will be to consolidate the existing team and establish the hotel as the finest example of hospitality and service in Al Khobar.”

Abdul Karim brings more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry having worked for several prestigious hotels throughout Saudi Arabia including Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers, Inter-Continental Hotels Group, and Saudi Hotels & Resorts Co.

Specialising in Business Administration and Human Resource Management (USA), 39-year-old, Abdul Karim also holds a number of certificates in Management Training, Development and Leadership.

Being a philanthropist and keen environmentalist, he has been working in close association with many social groups and is a member of Saudi Cancer Society, Saudi Society for Environmental Sciences, Disable Children’s Association and Saudi Red Crescent Organization among others.
