Single female travellers get Grand Hyatt treatment

Grand Hyatt Muscat has introduced a service for single female travellers.

The new service features special check-in at the front desk and guest relations staff who will accompany ladies to their room at all times.

The rooms will be centrally located near the elevators and lobby, they will be non-interconnecting and high-floor rooms.

There will also be a selection of international magazines and special amenities, such as fresh fruit and flowers, plush bathrobes, bath salts and a selection of toiletries.

As a special benefit for the single female traveller, they will also be given a complimentary upgrade to the next category.

Grand Hyatt Muscat director of rooms Girish Bhagat said the hotel was keen to address what could often be a “little stressful” journey for women travelling alone.

“Our aim is to provide a haven for our female guests so that they feel at home and welcome in our hotel,” Bhagat added.
