Gulfood organiser Dubai World Trade Centre’s senior vice president Trixee Loh commented: “Gulfood has earned a reputation as a key meeting point for the global food, beverage and hospitality supplies industry, providing an ideal platform for bigger, better business opportunities and turning the spotlight on the trends and developments breaking ground at the start of a new decade.

“The recovery of the global market and the continued growth of the Middle East region for the food and beverage industry is a key trend that we are delighted to be supporting.”

DWTC chief executive Helal Saeed Almarri added: “The food industry is one of the most important sectors to Dubai’s trade network.

“Dubai is the fulcrum between the east and the west, providing the Middle East with outstanding products from all around the world.”
