As the launch of the Armani Hotel Dubai nears, a team from the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) went on a pre-opening inspection tour.
Led by Armani Hotels & Resorts chief executive officer Marc Dardenne, the DTCM delegation inspected the hotels facilities and services to ensure adherence to the hotels classification manual.
The property is the first in a series of worldwide hospitality ventures between Giorgio Armani and Emaar Properties.
Housed in the newly opened Burj Khalifa, Armani Hotel will shortly begin a pre-launch trial run prior to its official opening in March.
The delegation later went on an informal tour of the world’s tallest building and was briefed about the multi-million dirham architectural wonder by the officials of Emaar.
Since its opening on January 4, Burj Khalifa has attracted between three to five thousand visitors.
Armani Hotel Dubai is the first of a series of hotels, resorts and residences designed by Giorgio Armani to be opened around the globe and marks fashion maestro Giorgio Armani’s debut in to the world of hospitality.
