Woman to sue hotel for $1.3m after mosquito bites

A Saudi Arabian woman is attempting to sue a luxury hotel for SR5m ($1.3m) after suffering from mosquito bites.

A Jeddah court yesterday heard the woman is demanding the five star hotel owners pay her in damages after claiming she fell ill during her stay, according to Al Hayat newspaper.

The hotel offered the woman a suite but she refused. She said a doctor advised her to begin medical treatment after suffering from severe pains and itching. The guest has since notified the hotel that she is suing them.
