Alexithymia: (n) inability to describe or express emotions in a verbal manner.

In a sentence:
HR manager: Why is the GM beating up the director of sales and marketing?

PR: The director of sales and marketing just lost our main corporate account. He then asked the GM what his thoughts were, but he just started hitting him.

HR manager: The GM did tell me he suffered from alexithymia, but I just thought it was a rash. Can you get security please, the guests shouldn’t be seeing this?

PR: Can you give him a couple more minutes. I want him to be tired when I tell him we are on the front page of the paper for all the wrong reasons.
