The death of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino COO Andrew ‘Randy’ Kwasniewski was suicide, according to a coroner.
Yesterday, coroner Mike Murphy voiced said the 56-year-old, who had been president of the hotel since October 2006, died of a single self-inflicted gunshot to the head.
A Kwasniewski family friend and spokesman, attorney David Chesnoff, expressed sorrow and asked for privacy on behalf of his wife and children.
The Hard Rock is owned by New York-based Morgans Hotel Group and an equity partner and is separate from the restaurant chain of the same name.
