A member of the Cirque Du Soleil team has been found dead in his hotel room in the US.
Spokesperson for Cirque Du Soleil Renee-Claude Menard told reporters that the deceased was travelling with the show, but wouldn’t confirm his exact role.
Menard added that the company was waiting for autopsy results, but said the death didn’t appear suspicious.
Employees from the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cedar Rapids called police on Friday afternoon after being alerted that a Cirque Du Soleil staff member hadn't reported for work.
