The Oberoi Mumbai to reopen after terrorist attack

The Oberoi, Mumbai will re-open on April 24 following extensive renovation and restoration after militants stormed the hotel 18 months ago.

We look forward to welcoming guests to the hotel which has been completely renovated to offer the highest standards of facilities as expected at all hotels of The Oberoi Group; this will be complemented by personalised and gracious service extended by our well-trained and dedicated staff.”

Boasting 287 rooms and suites, the hotel is centred around a 14-level atrium lobby, in white Thassos marble.

Dining options will include three restaurants, a lounge and a bar. Ziya is the new Indian speciality restaurant under the direction of the Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia.

Fenix, the new all-day dining restaurant, serves world cuisine and Vetro, the contemporary Italian restaurant, will feature fine Italian cuisine.

Recreational facilities at the hotel include an outdoor heated swimming pool, The Oberoi Spa and a fitness centre.
