Nominations opened today for Caterer Middle East magazine’s second annual F&B industry awards.
Recognising champions from all areas of the food and beverage industry, the Caterer Middle East Awards 2010 are open to outlets and suppliers across the region, with the lucky winners to be announced at a glittering live ceremony in Dubai this September.
These accolades — judged by a panel of independent industry experts — will recognise the top performers in over 20 categories, including Kitchen Hero of the Year, Bartender of the Year, Waiter of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and the coveted Chef of the Year title.
Caterer Middle East editor Lucy Taylor commented: “The inaugural awards, held in print last year, were a great success, receiving hundreds of nominations from worthy food and beverage professionals across the region.
“We hope to build on that success this year, and encourage outlets of all themes and sizes, from right across the region, to take part and recognise the champions in their workplace.
“The Middle East F&B industry is about more than the venues — it relies on professionals going the extra mile to make their food or team or product a success,” she continued. “The Caterer Awards offer the industry an opportunity to recognise the efforts of these dedicated individuals.”
Meanwhile the Chefs' Choice categories — the supplier section of the awards, comprising Food Supplier of the Year, Bevergae Supplier of the Year, and Best Client Support of the Year — will be voted for online by F&B industry professionals, over the next four months.
The deadline for all votes and nominations is August 27th, 2010.
