Middle East chain outlet operator Foodmark, part of the Landmark Group, today announced the opening of its first ever own-brand restaurant, Wild Ginger.
The pan-Asian restaurant, located at the Iconic store in Dubai’s Deira City Centre, promises ‘a unique blend of Asian flavours in a contemporary and stylish setting’.
A spokesperson for the brands noted: “Wild Ginger is ideally placed to allow customers to switch from shopping to dining, and vice versa, without even having to leave the building — meaning less stress and more enjoyment!”
The menu offers a range of dishes from Thailand, Japan, Vietnam and China — including starters such as Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab Salad; soups such as Spicy Miso Ramen; main courses such as Grawpaw Gai (stir fried chicken with basil and chilli); and desserts including Chinese Deep Fried Crepe.
The outlet also boasts a wide range of mocktails.
Commenting on the new launch, Foodmark operations manager Stephen James said: “We are delighted to be launching Wild Ginger, which is a brand new concept for Foodmark, and a move away from our traditional franchise operation.
“As part of Iconic, it will offer great food at reasonable price, in a funky but chic setting, and we are positive that it will be a huge success.
“Foodmark continues to go from strength to strength in the UAE, and we have exciting expansion plans both within the region and the GCC over the next year.”
