The Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai reopened today following the 2008 attacks that left 166 people dead.

Employees reportedly rededicated themselves to the property in a ceremony held yesterday, led by the hotel’s chairman Ratan Tata.

The hotel was severely damaged and staff and guests were killed in a siege involving militant gunmen in 2008.

The attack that lasted nearly three days killed 166 people. The November strikes, which lasted over 60 hours, killed 166 people.
