'Skinny' burgers in vogue in London

The InterContinental hotel, London Park Lane, will serve up a slimline buffalo steak burger containing just 143 calories and 2.4 grams of fat compared to the 9.2 grams of fat in a normal burger.

The burger is the brainchild of InterContinental chef Paul Bates and is made from finely minced buffalo steak mixed with onions, herbs and spices.

InterContinental London Park Lane's bar and lounge will be serving the skinny burger for one week starting September 17.
