World-famous graffiti artist targets hotel

A hotel in the UK had an unexpected visit from famous graffiti artist Banksy, who left a us $200,000 piece of art on the exterior wall.

Torquay's Grosvenor Hotel now boasts an 8ft-high image of a young boy drawing a robot.

The manager of the hotel arrived at the hotel on Monday morning to discover the work and is now waiting to have it covered in Perspex for protection.

Banksy is one of the world’s most famous artists, but has never shown his face, despite the likes of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt being keen collectors of his work.

The Bristol-based artist is known for his unique style and, while graffiti has a bad name in some sections of society, his work has raised the value of many buildings.
