New York restaurateur, Danny Meyer, has brought his casual dining concept from Madison Square Garden to the Middle East in the first Shake Shack restaurant to be built outside of the US.
“The opening of Shake Shack in Dubai marks our first move internationally and we are thrilled to be partnering with M.H. Alshaya Co. to introduce our brand to Dubai’s diverse and vibrant community,” said Danny Meyer, CEO Union Square Hospitality Group.
“We are very excited to introduce Shake Shack to the Middle East,” added Mohammed Alshaya, Executive Chairman of M.H. Alshaya Co. “Shake Shack has a great reputation in the US and we are certain that its fun, trendy vibe, its delicious food and its reputation for consistency will be an unbeatable combination in the region, just as it is at home. Our first location here in Dubai is the start of a wider expansion plan for the brand and we look forward to bringing the Shake Shack experience to customers across the Middle East.”
Shake Shack burgers are 100% all natural American Black Angus beef and guaranteed free from hormones and antibiotics, according to Meyer. The menu also includes a variety of shakes, crinkle fries and frozen custard.
