“We are opening the new Qatar National Convention Centre, bringing a world class hi-tech venue for hosting events and conferences to the country. The inaugural event will be the 2011 World Petroleum Congress in December.
This is not only the biggest event Qatar is yet to host, but will also be an opportunity to showcase the new convention centre and the country.

December will also see the inauguration of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) which, when fully operational will accommodate 50 million passengers a year.

With Qatar Airways now flying to 100 destinations around the world, Qatar is establishing itself as a key travel hub for travellers.”
