Approximately $ 120,000 for a very high profile client from overseas, which was very rewarding for me considering my limited experience in the industry at that time.
What is your ambition?
To make the concept of Utravel a standard in the industry. This will ultimately create new challenges for me and my team to stay different from the rest.

Where’s your favourite place to travel to?
Barcelona! It’s a gorgeous city with beautiful people, and my goal is to meet my dream football team there… FC Barcelona!
What advice would you give to someone looking to become a travel agent today?
Always keep your cool and focus. Never panic no matter what. Most importantly, think of yourself as a travel consultant, not just a booking machine.
Have you ever gone ‘above and beyond’ for a client?
Always! Every night and day is a variation of the same: tall orders, unusual timings, and last minute requests. I never know when the challenge comes! I have stopped on the side of the highway many times to serve clients, and once issued airline tickets on a safari trip… that was interesting!
What do you love most about your job?
I love the day to day interactions with clients, colleagues, and suppliers. It is always a challenge to deal with different mentalities and cultures; I feel this job gives me the opportunity to learn more about myself and others around me.
What's the worst thing about being a travel agent?
Being on my toes 24/7 and managing other’s expectations.

It’s a feeling of fulfillment as I feel that my hard work and ideas are being recognised by the people around me, be it clients or suppliers.
