Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman tourism authorities have joined forces for the first time to promote the Arabian Peninsula as a combined travel region to the Australian market.

The Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) and Sultanate of Oman Tourism are conducting a joint roadshow, visiting cities and regional towns throughout Australia and presenting to more than 300 travel agents across the country during September.

During the road show — DTCM, ADTA and Oman Tourism will present their destinations to agents to provide a better understanding of the region and demonstrate how Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman complement each other.

Julie King, director Dubai Tourism, Australia and New Zealand representative office said: “We recognise that Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman can be packaged together to offer a truly unique and diverse holiday proposition.

“Each destination has its own individual appeal and attractions for our different client segments. Along with a multitude of things to experience in the UAE and Oman, travelling through both countries is the perfect way to be truly immersed in Arabian culture.”
