The Lady of Luxury, an original 1977 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1 converted into a bar and DJ stage has parked up in Dubai.
Dubai-based event rental company Desert River has brought the car, revamped in The Netherlands by designer Stef ven der Bijl, to the emirate for four months.
The Lady of Luxury is inspired by classic Riviera boats, with its back fitted with a mahogany interior, and can be used as either a DJ stage or platform for cocktail servers. The car is also equipped with state-of-the-art speakers, 21 individual bottle chillers and two fridges.
Claudia van der Werf, owner Desert River, said: “At Desert River we always strive to stand out from the crowd as an events supplier – and bring something truly original to the market, whether it’s furniture, lighting or bars. The Lady of Luxury will be in Dubai for a limited time only as part of her world tour, and we are sure that she will be highly in demand as a dramatic feature at the regions premium events”.
