Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH) has welcomed six students from the Maastricht Hotel Management School in The Netherlands.

The students have come to Dubai for five months of experience and training in different disciplines, from accounts, marketing, housekeeping and F&B. Three trainees are based at the HMH headquarters, while the others are at Corp Executive Hotel Apartments in Al Barsha.

Michel Noblet, president & CEO, HMH, said: “Maastricht Hotel Management School is one of the most prestigious hospitality institutes and we are truly pleased to accommodate this new group of students at our organisation.

“We have been accepting students from the university for the last three years and will continue to do so. Training is one of the biggest challenges facing our industry today and at HMH we are eager to support any opportunity to develop a skilled and professional workforce. At the heart of it all is our commitment to serving customers better,” he added.

Dominique, who is assisting the operations team at the HMH corporate office in Dubai, said: “The entire team at HMH has been very helpful. It feels like a family. I love Dubai so far and found it to be a lot better than what I had anticipated. I just love my job.”
