HH Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, chairman Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA) has hailed Le Méridien Al Aqah by saying the opening of the resort marked the start of the evolution of a vibrant tourism and hospitality sector on the East Coast.
The declaration was made as the hotel embarks on a room refurbishment plan that is set to be completed within the year at a cost of AED 20 million.
“I am confident that Le Méridien Al Aqah will remain at the forefront of this success, continually upgrading and enhancing its facilities and services to ensure the comfort and convenience of all guests, in addition to playing a leading role in driving social responsibility and environmental protection,” said His Highness.
