Commenting on the latest project, Anthony Liddiard, CEO of Rmal Hospitality, said: “Since the first Trader Vic’s opened its doors in Dubai more than 15 years ago, the original Tiki venues have gained a loyal following. It is an institution that has firmly established itself as a top venue in the local dining and entertainment scene."

The new outlet will have a capacity of 320 and be decked out with the signature Trader Vic’s Style - with tribal masks and artifacts.

In addition it will also include a new sushi bar and a thatched terrace.

The restaurant will serve Polynesian food as well as the well-loved mai tai cocktails and bahia cigars.

“We are continuously developing the Trader Vic’s brand within the region to ensure that it evolves with the market, growing continuously to not only meet but exceed customer expectations," said Liddiard.

"Our latest outlet in Dubai Festival City will be an exciting addition which does just this. Though the vital elements of the brand will of course remain inherent, we have introduced a couple of exciting new twists on the Polynesian concept, one of them being a live sushi bar,” he added.

The new Trader Vic’s will be located opposite InterContinental Dubai Festival City, with an entrance over the connecting bridge.
