Dubai's Atlantis The Palm has opened Asia Republic, a casual, contemporary restaurant drawing inspiration from the cuisines of South East Asia, Korea and China.

The new concept has been created in-house by Atlantis’s team of culinary and F&B experts, led by vice president culinary, chef Mark Patten.

The menu offers a variety of appetizers, soups, wok-fried noodles, vegetables and rice, main courses, as well as desserts.

Dishes include Siew Mai (Chicken and Shrimp Dumplings), Vietnamese Prawn Lettuce Cups, Singapore Curry Laksa (pictured), Pad Thai Noodles with Shrimp and Peanuts, Cantonese Roasted Fragrant Duck with Plum Sauce, Vegetarian Fried Rice and Wok-Fried Red Bean Pancake with Black Sesame Ice Cream.

The outlet, described by the hotel as “the ideal destination for a quick and modestly priced meal”, seats 39 and is located close to the entrance for Aquaventure waterpark — aiming to meet the needs of the leisure guest after using the park’s facilities.
