Developer Tamouh Investments has plans to build hotel accommodation alongside the new Wadi Adventure water-sports attraction, which opened in Al Ain in May.
“There are plans in the future to develop accommodation that will be directly linked to Wadi Adventure,” marketing and group sales manager Mike Assad told Hotelier Middle East.
“This will allow our guests an excellent opportunity to stay for longer and make a real weekend or break. We are getting a lot of interest from abroad, and being able to provide something for our international guests will be essential,” he added.

Wadi Adventure, which offers white-water rafting, kayaking, a surf pool with 3.3m high waves, rope course, climbing wall and a zip line among other facilities, has attracted more than 15,000 UAE residents and international tourists since it opened.
Nearby hotels in the Jebel Hafeet area including Al Ain Rotana, Hilton Al Ain and Green Mubazzarah Chalets have partnered with the attraction to offer play-and-stay packages.
The Wadi Adventure team is also looking at developing additional activities geared towards younger guests, as well as further facitilies “to improve that beach atmosphere”, according to Assad.
“Wadi Adventure was developed as part of an initiative to provide new tourism attractions in Al Ain. With Jebel Hafeet as its backdrop it’s a fantastic location for adventure lovers,” Assad said.
Tamouh Investments is part of Royal Group and is also responsible for developing Reem Island Abu Dhabi.
