45: Paul Arnold, vice president development - Europe, Middle East & Africa at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts
Over the past year, Paul Arnold has continued to drive Rosewood Hotels and Resorts development in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
Currently, the company operates three hotels in the Middle East – Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama in Riyadh and Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah — but Arnold is focused on the brand’s growth in the region.
It is expected to debut in the capital Abu Dhabi before the year is out. The planned Rosewood Dubai, however, has been delayed with the operator unable to confirm an opening year.

Arnold joined Rosewood last year following 12 years working globally with Ernst & Young, five of which were spent in the United States before relocating to the Dubai office where he helped establish and eventually became responsible for leading the company’s real estate, hospitality and leisure advisory services practice across the Middle East and North Africa region.
