24 Ziyad Bin Mahfouz, president, Elaf Group of Companies
In April 2008, Ziyad Bin Mahfouz was appointed president for Elaf Group of Companies and joined its board of directors when it was formed in the middle of 2010.
Bin Mahfouz has spent the last year opening and expanding markets for Elaf’s booming Hajj and Umrah business from Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK and France.

He has also overseen the acquisition and opening of two hotels in Madina Al Munawara. The company has become a member of Agency Programme Joint Council, the elite International Air Transport Association committee, and achieved its Saudisation percentage targets.
The remainder of 2012 will see Bin Mahfouz focus on the opening of a 1500-plus room property in Makkah Al Mukarama, the opening of an 800-room property in the same location and ensuring record-breaking 2012 Hajj and Umrah seasons.
Bin Mahfouz is currently responsible for 12 properties in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah with another two properties in the pipeline.
