Jumeirah at Etihad Towers has officially launched its “Chill and Grill” Friday brunch.

With a focus on fresh gourmet experiences in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, the Friday brunch is held at the hotel’s Nahaam restaurant, providing guests with both indoor and al fresco dining options as well as live, interactive cooking stations, carveries, seafood and shellfish bars, three grill stations and a dessert and artisan cheese counter.

The Nahaam – whose name refers to the singer traditionally on pearl diving dhows – will be on hand to provide the entertainment through the brunch.

Reflecting the restaurant’s connection to the sea in name and location, fresh seafood will play a prominent role in its culinary line-up, including a barbecue grill specialising in Omani lobsters, calamari, tiger prawns and local specialities. In addition, a live Oyster Bar provides fresh oysters shucked to order and a live Sushi and Sashimi counter showcases the expertise of the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, Tori No Su.

A dedicated grill for the choicest cuts of prime meat offers baby back American beef ribs, prime beef sirloin and salsa verde, as well as an Arabic mixed grill including popular dishes such as Shish Taouk and Kofta, while another international barbecue grill offers Jamaican jerk marinated baby chicken, Ras El Hanout and rosemary marinated lamb cutlets, as well as char-grilled beef and Mexican spiced chicken burgers.

Nahaam’s Chill and Grill Friday brunch is held every Friday between 12.30pm-15.30pm. Prices range from AED 195++ (US $53), AED 285++ ($77) and AED 450++ ($122).
