Chef Gulshan, sous chef at Mazina restaurant in The Address Dubai Marina hotel, was crowned victor of ‘The Battle of the Chefs’ 2012 last month.
Gulshan won the culinary competition held at The Address Montgomerie Dubai, after competing in 13 rounds that began in January 2012 which aimed to show each chef’s ability to create original and innovative culinary creations.
During the competition sixteen chefs from sixteen different hotels went head-to-head to create three unique dishes, all using the same ingredients.

The 2013 edition of ‘The Battle of the Chefs’ will commence on January 16, and will run each month until the final round on December 18. Each participating culinary team must include one head chef or restaurant chef, one chef de partie and two commis.
The Address Montgomerie Dubai has been hosting ‘The Battle of the Chefs’ at its signature restaurant Nineteen since 2011.
