Tourism chiefs in Dubai and Emirates Airline have announced plans to launch a new campaign to promote the emirate as a global destination.
A joint cooperation between the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Emirates Airline will launch the new campaign called Hello Dubai 2013.
The campaign will start on April 15 and will run until August 5 and with the aim of increasing the awareness of Dubai as a tourism destination.

A total of 68 hotels will participate in the campaign and Emirates Airline will offer special rates during the period of the campaign, a statement said.
DTCM and Emirates has also invited up to 650 key tour operators and travel agents from across the globe to attend workshops this month.
Hotel operators in Dubai posted healthy full-year increases in room rates and revenues for 2012, according to latest data released by STR Global.
Hotels in Dubai reported that average daily rates increased 7.9 percent to nearly $235 while revenue per available room rose by 11.4 percent to more than $181.
according to the HotStats survey published by TRI Hospitality Consulting, Dubai hotels registered their highest profit margins in 36 months in November.
