The new Pesto at Al Hamra will target a different market, reveals chef Giuseppe Randazzo.
“The concept and food quality will remain the same and we will maintain the same overall standard, however as the clientele of Pesto in Al Hamra will include more expats, which is different that the Pesto at Al Corniche Al Qawasim, who are more local and Arabs, the menu will be slightly amended, where alcohol will be combined with the several of the menu dishes.”
Pesto focuses on offering Authentic Italian cuisine, importing ‘almost all’ of its ingredients from Italy.
This, its value for money menu and its cosy atmosphere with a view overlooking the mangroves and Al Hajir Mountains have so far contributed to its success, Randazzo adds.
