9. Rhodes 44, St. Regis Abu Dhabi
Michelin-starred celebrity chef Gary Rhodes is to launch his first restaurant in Abu Dhabi in April, adding to his existing three ventures in the neighbouring emirate of Dubai.
Rhodes 44 will be located in the St. Regis Abu Dhabi hotel, boosting the clutch of celebrity-chef restaurants dotted across the UAE.
Vibrancy and energy will be key to Rhodes 44. Guests have a choice of dining inside in a richly colourful restaurant or al fresco in the spacious private garden overlooking the corniche.

Should they wish for intimacy, the private dining room will seat up to 30 and features a lounge space and fire place.
The extensive à la carte menu will comprise a careful blend of European and British classics.
Gary Rhodes will not only be in charge of Rhodes 44, but also of the food served at The St. Regis Bar and the hotel’s in-room private dining.
UK-born Rhodes, often referred to as ‘the chef’s chef’, shot to fame during his appearances on popular television series such as MasterChef, MasterChef USA, and Hell’s Kitchen.
His Dubai restaurants, Rhodes Mezzanine and Rhodes in Residence at Grosvenor House and Rhodes Twenty10 at Le Royal Méridien, have proved popular with both residents and tourists.
