The fifth annual Caterer Middle East Awards will be held at the luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel DIFC, on the earlier date this year of Wednesday June 12, 2013.
The venue, with a ballroom capable of accommodating 500, is renowned as one of the leading luxury hotels in the city.
“We’re really excited to be hosting the Caterer Awards at the Ritz Carlton DIFC for the first time,” said Caterer Middle East editor Hannah Abdulla.

“With a greater venue capacity, you can see we are expecting a much bigger turnout this year, which alongside the growth of the Caterer brand is down to the maturation of the F&B market here in the Middle East, with lots and lots of new outlets coming online,” she added.
The awards are designed to celebrate F&B industry heroes across 15 categories. This year sees the launch of the new category Casual Dining Team of the Year as the F&B trend across the region moves towards the casual sector.
The Chief Steward of the Year award has also been introduced in order to recognise the importance of this vital function in the F&B operation.
Excitement surrounding the recently revamped nominations process has already seen interested outlets putting their people forward.
The deadline for all nominations is Thursday, April 11.
