Helio Lounge, dubbed a 'lifestyle-led culinary concept inspired by laid-back glamour', has opened in the Dubai Marina area.

The idea behind Helio is to offer a unique vibe and attitude inspired by Egyptian heritage, where people are invited to drop by, dine-in and hang out, according to the creators.

Renowned chef Joe Barza has designed the menu, incorporating traditional Egyptian and international dishes that are lighter, fresher and more contemporary than the original recipes.

The concept was created by a group of F&B professionals trying to capture a unique lounge culture model for the Emirates that fosters a sense of belonging, according to a statement.

Helio Lounge also offers a variety of shisha flavours on the large outdoor terrace overlooking Dubai Marina.

The music selection comprises a mix of Western and Arab-inspired tunes, as well as live entertainment and karaoke nights.

The venue extends over more than ten thousand square feet and can be hired for private events or parties.

The Helio service team speaks eight languages. Helio Lounge is open from 8am until 1am on weekdays and 3am on weekends and also offers valet parking. Take-out, delivery and catering services will be available in the near future.
