The Marjan Island Resort & Spa in Ras Al Khaimah has unveiled plans for a ‘spa retreat floor’ in the upcoming property.

The spa retreat floor will feature 20 treatment rooms, a male and female fitness club, a private wellness lounge and the 1,000m2 La’mar spa.

In room amenities will include hypoallergenic beddings, chromo therapy lighting, spa trays with beauty products and travel packs.

The retreat floor will also include a med-studio for guests interested in weight management, detoxification and skin care programs.

“We created this concept for wellness aficionados,” said Roger Tannous, general manager of Marjan Island Resort & Spa. “We aim at attracting travellers that seek a destination where they can experience a total environment of relaxation, rejuvenation and restoration.”

Marjan Island Resort & Spa is due to open in Q4 of 2013.
