TripAdvisor has published results of the fastest growing inbound tourism markets that are showing increasing interest in UAE hotel accommodation.
The study examined TripAdvisor site data to find which markets had the largest increases in traffic, taking into account natural growth, according to year-on-year growth in user sessions, from significant travel markets, looking at United Arab Emirates accommodations for full year 2011 vs. 2012.
The UK, the third fastest growing inbound tourism market after the USA and Australia, has the highest number of travelers researching UAE accommodation at 19%.

France and India are also in the top five markets most interested in UAE accommodation demonstrating year on year growth of 6% and 5% respectively.
“Interest in United Arab Emirates accommodations on TripAdvisor overall has increased 15% year-on-year, confirming United Arab Emirates as a desired destination by travellers from around the world,” said Dan Cross, territory manager business listings, Middle East and Africa, TripAdvisor for Business.
“It’s encouraging to see a significant increase in traveller interest from international markets such as the United States, Australia and the UK. The growing interest from inbound markets will help accommodation owners define their marketing targets as they look to capture more attention from international travellers in 2013 and beyond.
