Horeca Trade in conjunction with Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino have announced their joint sponsorship of this year’s high profile Caterer Awards where the region’s F&B professionals – from head chefs to bar managers – will battle it out in 15 coveted categories. The winners will be announced at the fifth annual awards 12 June, 2013 at Ritz-Carlton DIFC.
As a dedicated food and beverage distribution company to the food service channel in the UAE offering both front and back-of-house brands, Horeca Trade says it is planning a big presence at the awards in what it says is a strong show of support to its customers.
According to marketing executive, Horeca Trade, Kristina Borodikhina, “The Caterer Awards is one of the top arenas offering foodservice professionals the chance to be judged by their peers and come through to win industry-wide recognition.”

Borodikhina confirmed that Horeca Trade with S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna will be presenting an award at this year’s event: “Being an indispensible partner to the food service industry, it is an honour for us to present the award to the best Restaurant Manager of the Year,” she said.
The official water sponsors at the awards, every table at the gala dinner will offer bottles of both the S. Pellegrino (sparkling mineral water) and Acqua Panna (still mineral water), which will be the only bottled water served during the evening.
The trio will also give attendees the chance to sample the new sparkling fruit beverage by Sanpellegrino in three flavours – Aranciata, Limonata and Aranciata Rossa – either at its table display at the event or from its waiters who will be serving the drinks from trays to guests.
Horeca Trade's main remit at the awards is to support the industry. “Being a foodservice specialist, building relationships is a fundamental pillar of our success,” Borodikhina said.
“Through these high-profile award ceremonies we aim to build stronger bonds with our key customers and show them that it is not products and entities but human interactions and relationships that the business is built on.”
