Dubai's Atlantis, The Palm is expanding its Aquaventure water park with a 40m-high slide and what it says is the world’s first zipline circuit.
Kerzner International, the developer and operator of destination resorts behind the Atlantis, said The Tower of Poseidon plus a range of additional features will open in August 2013.
When the new development is complete, the 17 hectare waterpark will offer two gigantic waterslide towers, the new zipline circuit, the Middle East's longest river ride at 2.3 kilometres long, with tidal waves and pools, water rapids and white water chargers, plus 700 metres of white sand beach overlooking The Palm.
