Following its support of the Hotelier awards last year, IFFCO is extending its support to the Caterer Middle East Awards with two of its strongest brands, London Dairy Ice Cream and Rahma Extra Virgin Olive Oil, this coming Wednesday (12 June 2013).
Speaking of its sponsorship of the glittering event at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC, chief executive officer food service, Mat Baker said: “Both London Dairy Ice Cream and Rahma Extra Virgin Olive Oil are market leading brands across the GCC and we are further strengthening our support for these in the food service market over the coming months with channel-specific packaging and increased investment.
“We are honoured to be once again sponsoring these prestigious awards and value the opportunity not only to recognise the very best in the industry but also for us to showcase these products amongst the elite of the food service business across the GCC.”

IFFCO has confirmed it has a number of new initiatives across its business that includes a new Crisp Chocolate Espresso ice cream for its London Diary brand. It has also launched a new soft serve ice cream under its Igloo brand in both vanilla and chocolate flavours, which is already found in some UAE hotels, plus its Rahma brand is introducing convenient 10-litre packs and single serve 10gm and 40gm sachets with improved commercial terms.
Baker also says the company has a strong innovation pipeline of new products across a number of categories including the launch of a new No Diary Whipping Cream product under its premium bakery brand, Pristine, and new 10gm portion packs on its Fern Butter and Noor Spreadable brands.
The company will also continue to focus on developing a team of real Foodservice experts. “We now have on-the-ground teams in all of the GCC countries and we continue to focus on building not only the biggest but the best Foodservice Sales and Distribution business across the region,” Baker added.
