Dubai’s Media One Hotel will host an art exhibition by Syrian designer and artist, Helen Abbas, during Ramadan.
The collection will comprise 18 pieces of unreleased original artwork in the Shadows collection. The collection features original acrylics on canvas based on Abbas’ memories of places and people. The exhibition will also include pieces from her Mosaic collection and the Ramad collection.
Media One Hotel director of operations, Luke James, said: “Media One Hotel regularly opens its doors to renowned local artists in a bid to make art more accessible, allowing the public access to the artists’ great works 24/7, so they have no need to feel shy about entering the world of art galleries.

Helen’s work first came to our attention in the Destination Dubai book as her sweeping calligraphic shapes are her signature style and complement the contemporary setting of our hotel.”
The exhibition will begin July 9 and will last until the end of Eid. The collections will be displayed in the hotel’s lobby.
