Italian coffee manufacturer, Lavazza, has released a sustainable coffee brand in the UAE called Lavazza Tierra.
Lavazza Tierra was launched by the coffee manufacturer in 2002 to ensure better living conditions for communities, more profitable cultivations and more efficient processing techniques which respect the environment in key coffee producing countries.
Lavazza UAE manager Koen Seijnder said: “Sustainability is an important issue around the world and a social responsibility. Lavazza want to make a statement of communication and a new responsible way of drinking coffee.”

Lavazza UAE has also introduced the Greenline machine from Wega, which saves energy and memorises workloads at outlets.
Lavazza will be showcasing key products at the Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate on September 9 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.
“We always find it important to support events in the region, especially events that bring the F&B industries together with people that are as passionate about their services and products as we are,” Seijnder commented on Lavazza’s association with the event.
The annual Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate attracts around 200 general managers from luxury, upscale and midmarket hotels across the UAE to discuss industry issues and share best practice.
The event is free for GMs to attend. Visit www.hoteliermiddleeast.com/conferences for more information.
