Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has launched its new CISA eSIGNO electronic contactless lock and CISA eSIGNO electronic safe

1 The CISA eSIGNO lock aims to combine innovative design with advanced security, while its compact model has the flexibility to meet the needs of large chain hotels as well as family-run businesses.

The new contactless lock offers modern technologies such as Near Field Communication (NFC) and Network on Card (NoC) to offer secure system connectivity, and is designed for easy installation in both newly constructed as well as refurbished properties.

2 The CISA eSIGNO safe features a modern all-Italian design which can blend easily into any environment. A high visibility display and ADA-compliant keypad ensures that guests will find its operation easy to understand.

Additionally, thanks to a 90 degree door opening, the safe is even big enough to hold a laptop, while an internal power socket can also be fitted to the safe with automatic internal lighting providing easy visibility for guests.

The CISA eSIGNO is battery powered, with energy consumption kept to a minimum and the door tested to last for 8000 open-close cycles. Security and durability is also enhanced by the safe’s laser cut door design.

3 While security and safety remain key priorities for all hoteliers, design and efficiency are becoming more and more important. The CISA eSIGNO contactless lock combines Italian design with features such as intuitive opening (by simply holding the card up to the reader), battery power, wireless technology and a “do not disturb” signal that advises staff when guests are present in their rooms.

The new contactless lock, available in four finishes (polished and satin silver, polished and satin gold) and in a wireless version, can be configured to communicate with a remote system, allowing constant control and making it even easier to reprogramme and delete cards.
