Yas has officially opened its expanded dining and entertainment district comprising of seven new licensed restaurant outlets and facilities. 

The new Yas Marina is now open to the public and will host numerous events and activities leading up to Abu Dhabi’s 2013 Race Week.

Yas Marina general manager Cedric Le Rest said the company was delighted “to welcome residents and visitors of all ages”.

“Whether you are afloat or ashore, Yas Marina provides an unforgettable and affordable experience with its new restaurant and lounge offerings, panoramic views of the marina, a pedestrian promenade, an interactive musical fountain and a play area for children,” he continued.

“With the growing number of visitors each year, we are committed to bringing the best-in-class outlets and facilities to make the district more enjoyable for our guests, particularly the local community.

“We believe the addition of some new casual licensed and affordable dining options, combined with some fantastic lounge concepts will be a great addition to Abu Dhabi’s dining and entertainment options, whilst complimenting what is already on offer both at Yas Marina and Yas Island.”

In time for the Abu Dhabi Race Week, these seven new food and beverage outlets are open and fully-operational and include: sunset lounge Iris, Spanish tapas bar and restaurant Diablito Food & Music, French-German bakery Café d’Alsace, Lebanese restaurant Rozanah, and Seafood restaurant Aquarium. The new outlets are joined by existing outlets Stars ‘N Bars, an American style sports bar which has also gone through a makeover and a new look Cipriani, the marina’s Italian fine dining restaurant.
