The brightest hospitality talents from across the region are off to the circus this evening as the industry waits to find out who will be named the winners of the Hotelier Middle East Awards 2013.
The event is being held at the world’s tallest hotel, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, and will have a spectacular circus theme to wow the hundred of hoteliers attending. Hotelier Middle East received 600 nominations for this ninth edition of the awards, including numerous entries for five new categories this year.
Speaking ahead of the awards Hotelier Middle East editor Louise Oakley said: “Unlike other hospitality awards, the Hotelier Middle East Awards do not reward the newest, biggest or trendiest hotels, instead they are designed to celebrate the service stars and management maestros delivering top quality guest experiences and developing successful career paths for themselves and their associates.”

“I’d like to congratulate all the shortlisted nominees and am looking forward to celebrating with the winners this evening,” she added.
Following a lengthy short listing process by the hospitality group at ITP Business, where the hundreds of nominations were painstakingly whittled down to a shortlist of five for each of the 19 categories, judges were given two weeks to analyse the nominations, before meeting at the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai to discuss, debate and decide the nominees’ fate.
