The GCC is a major hub in the global food logistics’ market, currently importing 90% of its food with a market value that is forecast to increase to US $53.1 billion by 2020 according to the Economist Intelligence Unit.
This market growth, and the demand for global transportation and logistics players looking to expand into the GCC, will beone of the topics explored at the Food Logistics Forum at the Dubai World Trade Centre on November 17 and 18.
Food Logistics Forum is running alongside three specialist food industry shows - SEAFEX, The Speciality Food Festival and Sweets & Snacks Middle East, all of which will be addressing how to help address the critical issues shaping the future profitability of the entire food value chain.
