After the success of two Asia forums, Snap Events will host the first To The Table EMEA event from May 15-18, 2014 in Berlin, Germany.

Snap Events director Justin Wall said To The Table Asia was launched in 2012 after receiving a number of requests from hotels and restaurants to organise a F&B-specific event. Snap Events director Debbie Wilson said: “After two years of running it successfully in Asia, it was time to involve the EMEA market considering all the development going on in this region.”

She further revealed that many suppliers were requesting for a similar event for the EMEA market.

Wall said the forum will cater to the crème de la crème of the F&B world. He explained: “The event was started from scratch to bring in the very top echelons of the F&B buyer world.”

He said both buyers and suppliers had a lot to gain from attending the invite-only event. “Suppliers are going to get dedicated time with the head of F&B for all the major brands of hospitality and food and beverage across the EMEA region. Buyers who are attending will dedicate their time to look for new products, research the market and find new, innovative suppliers who can help them with their role.”

In addition to time set aside for meetings, To The Table EMEA will also feature a series of seminars: a panel discussion on concept design, a culinary demonstration by executive chef Paul Gayler MBE, a presentation by Jumeirah’s Jason Myers, and one by DWTC’s Harald Oberender on preparing the region for the Expo 2020.

Wall added: “All seminar programmes are [so that] delegates can leave more informed about the state of the industry, projects that are arising and the requirements of the industry, and to leave inspired and full of new ideas.”

Billed as The Food & Beverage Decision Makers’ Forum, the event will be hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin. Those interested in participating can get more information at http://www.tothetableemea.com/
