Commenting on cleaning challenges faced by the hotel industry, Viking Gulf COO Henrik Mahaini says: “I think one of the main challenges within cleaning is to turn over the rooms as quickly as possible.

The time saving can then either be used for quality improvement by allowing more time for the housekeepers to finish one room or they can do each room faster.”
To this end, Viking Gulf launched the Ultimate Duo microfiber floor mop. The Duo system is a two-sided front and back patented microfiber mop. It has a high absorption capacity and more mechanical scrubbing effect on the floor, which gives a better cleaning result than traditional mops.
Viking Gulf is also introducing new environmentally-friendly cleaning products. “Our Decitex microfiber products are doing very well in the hospitality industry.
The quality of the microfiber mops enables the cleaner to clean floor surfaces without using chemicals, which reduces the cost of cleaning and supports the environment — the floor mop is even validated for disinfection complying to EN13697 just using water,” he explains.
