Celebrity chef Silvena Rowe has opened her first restaurant in Dubai, Omnia Gourmet, in Jumeirah Fishing Village.
Almost entirely gluten free, Omnia Gourmet celebrates the flavours of the local cuisine and has an extensive range of raw, sugar free, gluten free, dairy free, Paleo and vegan desserts.
With most food being imported into Dubai, Omnia Gourmet is aiming to set itself apart with its approach to sourcing ingredients.
From Emirati burrata and ricotta cheeses to the locally farmed chicken and freshly caught local fish, Silvena’s menu celebrates local produce in the UAE and taps into the growing trend for sustainability in the Emirates.
Rowe is a famous face on the BBC and on commercial television stations in the UK, and a rotating judge on the US show Chopped.
