Just Falafel has opened a new restaurant in Egypt in the resort town of Marassi on the country's North Coast.
The franchise has been launched by Healthy Franchising, owned by Waleed Abouraya, which is the master franchisee for the brand in Egypt.
The new restaurant is a street vendor concept offering a select Just Falafel menu while also incorporating local flavours by offering Egyptian Foul, a local dish popular in the country.
Healthy Franchising managing director Hussein Yacout said: “Just Falafel has been warmly embraced by the Egyptian market and the restaurant’s continued success has given us the opportunity to expand into new areas outside of Cairo.

"We are excited by our latest venue in Marassi, and believe that Just Falafel’s quality-minded menu will appeal to resort-goers for a quick but heathy meal.”
Just Falafel will continue to expand in Egypt, with one more restaurant due to open this year, followed by up to 85 more over the next few years.
The franchisor is set to open 44 more restaurants around the world this year in a bid to increase its presence in key markets such as the USA, Canada, Australia and India.
