A fire broke out on a restaurant boat in Dubai Marina on Wednesday night, destroying the vessel.
Those on board were forced to flee the Waterworld restaurant boat, which caught fire near the site of the Dubai Marina mosque, close to the Byblos hotel.
It’s not known how many were on board at the time, but as many as six are believed to have been injured, with some forced to jump out of the boat’s windows.
Firefighters from Dubai Civil Defence and ambulance services attended the scene, which was cordoned off by emergency services. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
